Cliff Royd was built around 1682 during the reign of King Charles II and retains many character features whilst having the benefit of all modern luxuries. A large house by Bay standards.

There are wonderful sea views from every window due to the exceptional position of the property.

Cliff Royd was newly renovated in spring  2008 by local craftsmen and now features a lovely interior which is both stylish and extremely comfortable. Full central heating with instant hot water.

Real attention to detail and thought has been given to the furnishing of the property to ensure you have a comfortable and relaxing stay .

In the dining kitchen there is a large range style cooker with double oven, plate warmer, 4 gas rings, a wok burner, and a hot plate.

A stylish retro fridge freezer is also provided. 

The fully equipped kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine.

The dining kitchen has a farmhouse dining table with  seating for six under the glow of the fishermans lamp.

The living room has a two high quality comfortable leather sofas. 

For music lovers there is a good quality music system.

Unwind whilst watching a movie on the LCD flatscreen television and DVD player.

There is a real coal fire to stoke up for those cosy evenings after a day spent beach combing or walking in the stunning scenery around Bay.

Cliff Royd sleeps 6 in comfort in 3 bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms have Kingsize beds and full en-suite facilities. The third bedroom has twin beds.

All bedrooms have flat screen LCD televisions with inbuilt DVD players. Poor reception in bedrooms!

All bedding and towels are supplied in high quality Egyptian cotton.
